Town Council Approves Major Heritage Tree Protections
At its February 2024 meeting, Oak Island Town Council made significant changes to the Vegetation portion of the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) – which provides protections for heritage trees and modified requirements for trees in new developments. These changes became effective March 15, 2024.
